When I was 16 every girl around me wanted to be like Madonna, but not me: I wanted to be like Sade! Forty years later, I still feel very much the same! So lucky to have seen her in concert in the band's only time in Argentina (where I'm from), in 2011. An absolute Queen.

It's 12 50 at night and I'm sitting by myself at the edge of a creek while my dog Molly snoops around in the brush. Lightning bugs are out, it's probably around 65 degrees with little to no wind. Half moon with some clouds. I can hear what I think is a duck occasionally but I can't see it. Just drinking a beer and listening to Sade. Edit: 06/16/2024

My mom had been jamming her songs since I was a kid. When Sade had her last tour we both had the opportunity to see her live, it was my first concert and is still unmatched. I thank my mom for sharing her favs with me 🥹💕
