Thank you for continuing to humanize people. We need more journalism like this instead of fear mongering

“I used to be the man back in the day” is one of those phrases that stick with you after you hear it

The interview with an outreach worker who's spent years trying in vain to help the same homeless people we spent the first half rooting for really made this documentary.

"No longer want to use the motif of 'raising awareness' as a justification for inserting myself into the misery of others for the public spectacle." Other content creators need this mentality shift.

Drew’s guitar and song writing skills are actually insanely good. Just like a throwback to the 70s or something.

Shoutout to the last guy he interviewed. You can tell physically he’s been through it, yet he’s climbed out of it and went back to pull his friends out of it. You’re a real hero man, I have nothing but respect for anyone trying to get clean and start over.
  • Andrew, thank you for this film. Jay's family is out here and worried about him. Thank God he is still alive!!! He has a daughter and two brothers and several aunts and cousins back here in NH. We all care very much about him!! so happy to know he is still alive, sad where he has ended up where he has, he truly had a great life and a wonderful family that truly cares about him.

"There's almost no place on Earth as miserable and spiritually draining as the DMV" - Andrew, after sleeping in the tunnels. It says something.

"and if tomorrow fades away, we still have today." Wow. What a fucking line. I hope this man is able to record something someday.

Years ago I felt like All Gas No Brakes was a goldmine of comedy. Now, Channel 5 has become a goldmine for the soul

Hey Andrew, I am/was one of those who look at homeless people with a dehumanizing eyes. Your video really helps me see these individuals differently. I've just enrolled in a part time volunteering in my local homeless shelter here in Montreal. What you are doing has an impact and you can be proud. Have a good day.

I'm rooting for Glenn, I really hope he'll get serious about getting his life back on track. He seems like such a nice guy.
  • @fedinhorax
Andrew made a 1.5 hour documentary to find one social worker who could explain the entire problem and more in 10 minutes. That guys interview was incredibly insightful.
  • That's crazy to be a musician living under the city, tucked away from every opportunity, and then one day someone comes by and suddenly 1.7 million people hear your music. Just amazing

Boxer is the man. Good luck to them all. A display of the incredible ingenuity of mankind.
