you can get stuff WAY better by using a warship sailcloth instead, even for dark seas it works as you can simply just brace and evade cannonfire while being able to outspeed and out turn atlantean brigs, as for passive wave damage and lightning strikes you just gotta pay attention nd dont let your ship take more than 1k dmg without repairing it (shipbuilder deckhand helps out a lot for this)

i think the warship hull isn't worth it, you gain more stability than you need which gets wasted. best to use warship on cannons for the best firepower and basically no downside, brisk on everything else.

If you can i'd say swap out tht enhanced enchat on the dragonfire carronades with Warship it gives them a huge .5 multiplier to their damage and range. Bringing them up to snuff with standard have cannons and allowing them to multiply damage by a massive 2.5x

Fun and games till u realize u created a slow punching bag and that u will realistically lose every ship pvp u enter due to being slow. its not bad but calling it the BEST is false as hell (its also not that good in dark sea scenarios cause the defense u get in exchange for the speed will literally be lost on the way to the 2nd layer regardless, in addition to not being able to dodge the 2 wave clash event without stopping and waiting)

My ship doesn't use Archaic hull but it can achieve most of those stats just by using deckhands.

Bro put attachments on yo ship like do you just outrun white eyes? The attachments like harpoons is mostly for stunning sea monsters chasing your ship and the other thing is for welp killing them

I prefer reinforced on sailcloth, gives like 23 speed and 25% resilience i think edit: looked it up and it's 19 speed, 20% resilience which happens to give you max resilience, so thats nice

Not quite sure about using the dragonfire carronades. I lean towards iron culverins with the default range they provide

im trying to make a black pearl replica with decent health. My ship has 105 speed with 2 speed deckhands and 19k health. So im mainly focusing on SPEED
