For console players needing to improve your positioning this is a good exercise for both beginners and intermediate players. I feel those on console need to work on positioning and also speed of working from spot to spot.

Remember, understand positioning but be diligent and quick on how you position.

I hope you all found this video helpful and after coaching this is an area most console players can improve upon.

I hope this guide helps get the building blocks going for better positioning and understanding hitbox size! Especially if you are on console! :)

This 9 minute video made me realized how positioning is very necessary to get better as a player and continue to improve which fights to take. Much thanks Dazs!

I'm really glad that some love is going out to console players. A lot of people who "help" are always more focused to controller pc and not console itself so it means alot that you made a video for us console players. This video will definitely help me out in terms of finding those sneaky spots and using angles to my advantage.

Random Fact: Bullets in apex legends comes out of your head(Crosshair). That's why head glitches are powerful. Although your gun is covered by an object, so long as you can aim your crosshair at an enemy, you will be able to hit them. The muzzle flash and effects are just for show/immersion. (This is the concept of the "Head Glitch")

I recognised that i was getting beamed while peeking in pc lobbies with my friends when i couldn't even see the enemies, but after playing in them lobbies for a while i think i've gotten better at it, still there were things in this video that were helpful! Cheers!

This was incredibly helpful even now and I didn’t even realize how much positioning makes a difference
  • This really helps for all platforms! Nobody covers these little details in specific. Good looking out bro!

switching to pc from console makes you realize this so quickly i remember the first month on pc, i was getting beamed from all distances and was confused until i learnt minimizing hitboxes. Also made me more aware about pieces of cover near me during close engagements w shotguns/wingman subconsciously over time nice video dazs.
  • I'm really glad someone is trying to help the console players out there. I play on console (Nintendo switch) and I've recently started trying to get better at positioning and taking different advantages because I'm trying to start running solo duos. This video really helped me realize that even tho you may have only a little bit of space and or cover, you can make it work

Dazs thank you I was waiting for this one bro 💪

Very helpful and actually something I do put into practice. Someone once told me shoot from 60% cover. I really appreciate your videos, keep up the great work. The problem is approaching gunfights and being caught in rotation. Also, simply landing and immediate gunfights. I solo queue a lot and run into so many players that want Estates/Fight Night, East Frag, and Antenna. Most the times i find myself looking for a gun while teammates just start punching and we're all sent back to lobby.

This was super helpful. After watching this I jumped immediately into a game and noticed I was paying way more attention to my angles ,where I could abuse cover, and peaking. I also tried using a triple take for most of the game which I usually never use a peaking type of weapon.
  • I feel like this video was made just for me thank you so much! Top quality Dazs!
  • @John4Real
been waiting for this! thanks ❤️
  • Dazs that video is awesome. I play on console and this give me something to think about and bring into my game to make me better. Thank you for this!

I need like 100 more videos on LOS and positioning. Apex is my first FPS and I absolutely love the game. However, I realize that as I begin to get in higher lobbies, I am so lost as to angles and multi-level buildings. Your video was so helpful. Please make more. 🤞
