  • Theory can lead down all sorts of rabbit holes in a good way. I find it more challenging trying to imitate a particular genre as my melodic biases end up in the music

Greejt! I've had Scaler 2 for some time and the guys behind the app, are really trying to do something different than the usual chord-generator-generation - it's cool to spark some ideas for sure - and the detection function is🔥 Q: How did you learn the jump from Logic to Ableton? Can you recommend any courses?

Hi Bjornar. I've followed you since we both got AMD 12 cores and thoughts about them. I've been a guitarist from the start and have always enjoyed "playing", trying to find chord progressions/riffs that are inspired. I use Bitwig/Maschine MK3 and Scaler, both MK3 and Scaler are game changer for me. Scaler is great in my opinion, creative, easy to use, educational and gives a good overview of how chords work. Cheers.

Since Live 12 is coming, Scaler don’t have purpose anymore 😅

i don't like it ....i was searching for instant long chord progressions (6+ chords) and i tried every chord progression programmed in it, and it didn't give me many chords that i really liked ....but i didn't used the function to create own chords because i was so high and couldn't figure it out...so maybe it was a user error in my case hahaa ....every time i took the time to create my own chords directly in my daw without scaler, i came up with better ideas
