The squiggly decorative ribbon like material is Rickrack. That's what we called it in the 50's. I use to make earrings and necklaces out of it and sold it to our friends and neighbors, lol. I was maybe 15 when I did that.

The red and white you used on your flag, is Rick rack. The flag is so stinkin cute! The votive holders are so adorable! The two jars are beautiful. I love them! I absolutely love the fabric and twine covered balls. The USA is stunning, it is adorable! The blocks looked amazing. Loved the star! The U S A blocks with the fabric and star are wonderful!
