I came across him once in a health food shop in London several years ago. His presence was serene and magnetic. I felt he was someone I knew but was desperately wracking my brain trying to figure out from when/where! The shop wasn't busy at all and no one else was looking at him. He smiled at me as we were both looking at the same food section. He made such an impression that I told my husband about this guy I'd seen that I must know but couldn't place. It was a couple of weeks later that I was watching TV and he appeared on the couch before an interviewer. That's him, I shouted! That's the guy!! I had had no idea I had been sharing smiles with Orlando Bloom. He had been such an unpretentious, genuine kind of guy and I'm glad I got to see him in such a normal environment.

When Richroll hits so hard that movie stars shed tears. You know you are listening to one of the best Pod casters on earth! Bloom:”I’m just so grateful for everything”
  • @Viciindahouse
I feel like getting to know him on this podcast, just makes me admire him even more. Such a wise guy. I feel inspired really, the way he’s so passionate about his faith, and his willpower, and strength. Truly amazing ❤

Thank you for this. I had no idea Orland Bloom struggled with dyslexia. His creative journey resonates with me, even though my life is far less dramatic and extraordinary. I am encouraged to hear about "dancing with the polarities of darkness and light" because that's what I do. His vulnerability really touched me and I thank you both for allowing this to come out.I would love to use his mantra. I too am very drawn to Buddhism, and his admission that a morning ritual is so important to foucsing his life. A deep resounding thank you. to Rich and to Orlando.
  • To The Edge is simply phenomenal. Orlando's personality and spirit are on full display. It's impossible to put yourself in those places without being authentic. I am absolutely in awe of this man, his courage and his ability to remain focused and calm enough to execute find motor skills under the most extreme pressure of literally do or die. I've done enough climbing to be familiar with petrifying fear and how thoroughly it can interfere with the ability to function. Supreme discipline. One point, "extreme sports" is not a single category that includes endurance and adrenaline. One involves overcoming pain and discomfort. The other involves real danger and overcoming fear. Those are two very different things. Bravo Orlando. You are an inspiration.
  • WOW! Earthly desires lead to enlightenment... I have heard this before but this morning it REALLY resonated with me and something shifted inside of me. I have been working on my relationship with shopping and have been making changes (over 30 days now with no extraneous purchases - sounds small but it is major for me). I used to be a yoga teacher and did lots of reading and was connected to spirit but then a divorce and life changes and attachment to luxury goods to prove something to myself - then a slow and steady return to myself and who I am. I have a daily yoga practice - and am so disciplined in every single area of my life except my relationship with money and dopamine hits from buying stuff. But today's podcast just shifted me a little bit more towards my true heart. For that I THANK YOU BOTH! Earthly desires lead to enlightenment. :-)

Orlando's reflections on embracing extreme challenges to appreciate life’s quieter moments are truly inspiring. It's a powerful reminder that sometimes stepping out of our comfort zones allows us to find joy in everyday simplicity. 🌟

@OrlandoBloom we see your heart, your conversation with Rich was a beautiful dance between two gorgeous men inside and out. Thanks for sharing, I'd watch the WHOLE thing again ;)
  • I have to say that Rich Roll is one of the best looking men with his face and body! It is very clear that he is so intelligent and he's working on himself emotionally, kind of perfect! He and Julie make a great couple!
  • @noornoornoor23
Dear Rich, will listen to this interview now. But also wondering since a long time now that, how come we haven't got an interview with Dr. Michael Greger this time? :( :( His book came out recently - How Not To Age - and more than the book (coz it sooo long) I was looking forward to hearing him on the RR Podcast!

Please make it happen soon! :)

    Thank you.
  • The idea of having the discipline to simplify and to come back to the basics really resonated with me. Also Bloom kept saying: Just pour more love onto it! So succinct! Really, what else is more important than that? Loved the interview. Thank you, Rich. Best regards from Ukraine!
  • This is the best episode I've heard in a while. Got goosebumps throughout, teared up a few times. Gave me a lot to reflect on. Thank you Rich and Orlando.
  • @rebekahelle9013
This is truly a treat. It's so nice when we can hear such a rich interview like this. And I cannot not see Legolas as he moves his head in different positions as he thinks and speaks. What a lovely person he is.
  • @JeM130177
I'm not familiar with your podcast in general but I had a huge crush on Orlando as a teen it's lovely to be watching him now as an adult as he does the rounds of promo for his new show and getting to hear him have big proper conversations.
