The Platters was and still is one of my favorite groups. Such talent and so many hits. Sad today’s music just sucks. No talent and nothing makes sense just a lot of crap noise. Plus it all sounds the same with the same beat just about to any of noise they call songs.

Tony Williams was such a fantastic singer! Perfectly beautiful voice! I’m 83 now and have been listening to the Platters since I was just 15! The adults at that time didn’t like Rock and Roll, until they heard the Platters sing! They fell in love with the Platters and changed their mind about Rock and Roll!

In the beginning of the -70 and we had finished a evening meal in a restaurant in Miami Beach. On our way out, we discovered that The Platters was on the stage down stairs. We went down, and had a evening listening and watching The Platters. An evening I will never forget at an age of 82 today!
