im just in utter awe at how wolfenstein's nazi army was able to defeat the powerhouse Ohio
  • @Irishfrasa
Gotta love the whole "ancient magic technology that's light-years ahead of ours yet it's creators are entirely gone and forgotten" logic
  • In real life, Hitler is looking for ancient artifacts that could potentially power his army but are most likely myths. But in Wolfenstein, the ancient artifacts Hitler finds are very effective.

Germany did understand how to create a nuclear bomb. The train carrying the needed heavy water was blown up and sank in a river in Norway. This mission was accomplished by the EOS, Britain’s secret service. This is one of those historical facts that can scare many people.

In the original series of both games, DOOM and Wolfenstein were set in the same universe. This is referenced in New Colossus under the form of the Ubergewehr, which shares the shape and use of the BFG-9000, albeit with more primitive technology, and whose description mentions it draws power from "another dimension", possible referencing hell plasma or argent plasma.

I recently played Wolfenstein The Old Blood and I found that it actually says during D-day only 3 Germans were killed and 89 were wounded. Not a complaint just something I'd like to share
  • @HimMan.

I absolutely love how ridiculously over the top Germany is in Wolfenstein, because it makes it so satisfying to defeat the seemingly unbeatable enemy.

"Übersoldaten" = "Over-soldiers" (like Special Forces) "Übergewehr" = "Over-rifle" (doesn't make sense in german either) "Panzersoldaten" = "Armored Soldiers" (Panzer means Tank AND Armor in german) "Zerstörer" = "Destroyer" "Panzerhund" = "Armored Dog" "Kampfhund" = "Fighting Dog" (Kampf = Fight, Battle)
  • "Why you wouldnt survive Wolfensteins German Army" Me, a german: "I am 4 Privilegs ahead of you"
  • I actually recently finished Wolfenstein the new order on the hardest mode Uber Difficulty which took 10 days and was bastard hard to beat I died a grand total of 166 times so the video speaks volumes on survivability against that army.
