The car is a Kinsmart 1:40 scale 1957 Chevy Belair, available online and through many different retailers costing $5-$10 depending on where you can find one.
The lights are 12v LED soft white purchased through Amazon, 20 for $9.99
Search - LED 12v prewired mini lights. You’ll find a wire variety to choose from.
Sorry about the error in the title, I didn’t notice it until after I had already posted the video

Nice video. I have a 1:43 scale K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider with a painted on red scanner light. Any ideas on how I could wire it with some red leds so that the scanner light would not only light up but also go side to side?

Thank for the tip thank for sharing

What a great idea to easily add lights! I have a question though. Where did you get the ocean and sky back drop i see behind you on your layout?

Sorry. It would have been nice if you showed how you attached the lights to the car.😢

Great job for a first effort! I've been lighting those things for about ten years but I take it to extremes. Mine always get both head and tail lights. And I've moved on to some very complex ones. Here's my most recent tutorial on a complicated job. I've actually done two of these trucks, both of which sold quickly! Here's a link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yILZDQyGWpg

Sir - you're fast-forwarding through the things us people who have no idea what we're doing need to know. Can you slow it down a bit? I'm trying to install blue/red flashers on a 1:18 Mad Max Pursuit and need to know more details.

You can get a pack of 100 of red, green, blue, white, yellow off of Temu for like $10 and they even sent me an extra 100 idk if it was a gift or on accident but I got 200 for $10😁
