Grandpa Finally Gets The Mercedes He Always Wanted

*Final Update...* I am sorry to say that this will be my last update on Pop Pop. On December 10th, his loving wife, my Grandma, "Ma" passed on from this life. Last night, December 14th, he went on to join his "Honey." They were married 65 years, were loving parents to 3 wonderful kids, the best grandparents in the world to the 6 luckiest grandchildren, and the happiest great grandparents of 5 beautiful great granddaughters. I have personally been beyond blessed to have been supported by, loved by, and cherished by these incredible people for 29 years, and I feel completely lost without them. Thank you all for your kind words, prayers, and for inquiring about my sweet Pop Pop's health and well being. He got a kick out of this video going viral, he enjoyed being able to say he finally had a Mercedes, and he loved being surrounded by the family he adored and who adored him back. At least I have this sweet, silly video to look back on and smile. 💗 P. S. No, sadly we will not be buring him in the Mercedes. He'd probably want us to try! Haha 😆😭💔

*UPDATE* Pop Pop will be 92 in June, and he is no longer driving the Mercedes himself. When the weather is nice, we'll drive him around with the top down. 😊 He still loves that car, and shows it off to his buddies. 😁

*UPDATE* Pop Pop has had a sharp decline in his health over the past few months. He has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He is on oxygen, and spends a lot of time in bed. We are working on getting physical therapists to come in throughout the week to help him gain some strength back and to keep his muscles from atrophying. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. So many of you have been so kind, and the joy this video has brought to so many is an absolute pleasure to us. Now, we need positive thoughts/vibes/prayers for Pop Pop. Thank you to all those who have continued to check in on this man that I have loved so dearly for my whole life. It is wonderful to see so many adoring him from afar. Love to you all! xoxo 💕

I never had a grandfather, or a grandmother...or even a father. But I knew I wanted to end that cycle, and become the best father and grandfather I could be. I have two grown biological sons, two non biological grown daughters, and 10 grandkids now. They are MY Mercedes! Thanks for posting this video.

*UPDATE* Thank you all so much for your prayers and well-wishes! Pop Pop has been in a rehab facility for the last 2 weeks, and it has been such a blessing! He is feeling great, regaining his strength, and is in good spirits! We are hoping he'll be home for Christmas. 🤞🏻🙏🏻😁😍 You are all so sweet for checking in on our guy! Thank you, everyone! 🥰💕
