You’re not wrong about Lex Luger. As great as he was, he was still never more than an upper mid-card who could hold a world title, while the reset was put in play. WWF tried everything to get him over as the next big main eventer, the fans just never bought it. It wasn’t until he was almost done, that his name drew.
