Never good news to get, but always good to get those second chances early on. You can do this. You're worth all the hard work!
  • It's a wake-up call. I got diagnosed 6 years ago, no big deal. Take your medicine, watch what you eat, and please exercise. You'll be fine
  • @petenagel8831

Welcome to the club brother, applaud your determination to lose weight, take it easy man, we love you
  • @UberManTampa
The good news is, if you lose the weight, it will most likely either go away or become much more manageable. Metformin keeps your A1C in check, however it causes kidney failure in my friend who passed away

Thank you for sharing such a personal decision. Diet is everything and good luck with your decisions....
  • Metforman. Removes glucose from in the Collen. Causes direa and cramps. But will pass in a few weeks and things will be basically be back to somewhat regular

I quit drinking soda, and lost 30 pounds by just doing that. I drink nothing but water, and sugar free Powerade. With the water, I get the sugar free water flavoring packets.

Hey Kevin, just subbed to you! I got diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes in May of 2016 and now I have it under control. A1C is 5.7 now. I suggest a keto-based lifestyle (low carb) if you're unable to lose weight "the old fashioned way". Feel free to reach out to me if you need to! -Pete
