Kendrick has long surpass being a rapper he is a modern day philosopher.
  • Thought it was awesome how he changed the mix for the video and removed the 808s almost entirely. Every track on Mr. Morale is classic, man. Favorite album of the last couple years, hands down.

The lady is Dame Helen Mirren, an Oscar winner. She’s incredible
  • Helen Miren is an absolute treasure, so it just goes to show that birds of the same feather, flock together

Why are you the way you are is a valid question we don’t ask very often. A person is the way they are because of what they’ve been through in life, the situations they’ve encountered and what they’ve done to overcome them. The video is not meant to get you fired up. It’s just and important highlight in the song Kendrick felt to shine more light on. The conversation with Helen Mirren, the transitioning from a little boy with wings to just a man who has, like he stated in the text “I feel like I’m falling “. So much to take from the video and all you’re worried about is when the beat drops?

How people can not appreciate this art from an artist spewing their subconscious thoughts to us in rap form is beyond me. Just because you can't dance to someone rhyming their thoughts and emotions doesn't mean it isn't magnificent. Just look at how criminally overlooked the revival album is. When will people start appreciating when artists show a part of their consciousness.
  • It’s not about the bounce bro. It’s about the message.
  • Kendrick is in my top 3 and this album and the art and pictures you paints in these music videos is just truly beautiful. When I was in 7th grade I discovered Kendrick in GKMC and from there I became I big fan of just the storytelling he gives (I’m 19 now)
  • Kendrick is my fave rapper ever! Thank you for doing this review I was waiting on this from you. This is def one of my fave songs on the album and the album is heavily played on a daily over here
  • Every word and image is so carefully thought out. The word "artist" gets thrown around a lot but this man is one. Maybe it is just too deep for some people to understand and appreciate. People are so shallow these days.
