Honestly one of my favorite gimmicks in recent gens, the idea of giving up a slot on your team in return for a raid boss is very cool and not at all overtuned

Dondozo the kind of fish to say "you got it boss!" and "sure thing boss" as he henches all over the opposing Pokemon

Dondozo is great simply because she gives off the vibes of a Mobster Henchman. Goin' around like "buhhhhhhhhh you gots it boss" like she's out of a Looney Toons cartoon.

You forgot to mention that there is a really niche technique where if you get Tatsugri to 1 HP and it dies inside of dondozos mouth (usually with flame or toxic orb )then the then the space that tatsugri was in can be replaced with a different pokemon and dondozo who keeps it stat changes if paired with a flamigo which has access to costar then you have a devastating combo that breezes thorough most teams

Dondozo really seems amazingly balanced. Losing an entire team slot sounds like a horrible ability that couldn't possibly be worth it unless you made it hilariously broken, which it somehow isn't. Making both these fish good on their own as well as making the combination a sizable, worthwhile upgrade without completely breaking them sounds really difficult. You either make using them on their own pointless, as the combination is always better, or make the combination worthless, as they are always better seperately. But they somehow managed to make both options work. How did such a well balanced concept appear in the same generation as Flutter Mane?

You mentioned it in the video and it drives me insane to no end. Why is TATSUGIRI banned to DUbers? No, I'm not suggesting they ban DONDOZO to DUbers, its a staple of the metagame. But you wanna know who, or rather, what the real culprit is? The ability! Tatsugiri has another ability, Storm Drain, meaning they could just ban the ability Commander instead of banning Tatsugiri as a whole. I think supportive Tatsugiri would be really fun as it gets Icy Wind and Chilling Water, with the option to nuke with Draco Meteor. It works well with Surf-spam and water-weak mons because it can redirect water moves over to itself. Banning Tatsugiri as a whole instead of Commander is, in my opinion, a very dumb choice because of Tatsugiri not even being REQUIRED to have Commander
