Why does a man who served his country honorably for 20 years and more have to defend his record against cowardly scumbags?
  • @mellzworld5433
Im a Navy Veteran & I never shot a gun nor been shot at...But I did sacrifice my life & time to support my country...I'm no less of a veteran than a soldier in Iraq...
  • As a proud veteran of 26 years, I find it highly disgusting that a fellow veteran would attack another veteran's service, just for political points.
  • I don't care if he was in war or not he is still a veteran for 24 years, and he is a sergeant. Give that man the respect he deserves
  • @JVassago
From JD's book: "i was lucky enough to escape any fighting", dude was a tour guide to visiting journalists. Nothing worse than a veteran attacking the military service of another veteran for political points. Disgusting! Especially when your partner, mr. bone spurs, is on record stating he's smarter than his 4-star generals.

4 years for Vance. Over TWO DECADES for Walz. Do the math, America
  • @arkhsm
24 years service, versus 4 years; one of these guys hung in there, and the other one just flapped his jaws to the press....what a girl's blouse !!
  • Trump begged out of military service for bone spurs! Really, he’s criticizing Tim Walz.
  • @babyblastCN
1,the guy have served for 24years in military 2,he’s have every right to retire anytime anywhere anyhow.none of anybody’s business. 3,let alone he’s plan run for congress continue to serve the country.
  • @ADHDSquirrel-
Vance (named Hamel at the time) spent 4 years in the Marines as a journalist. He spent 6 months in Iraq as a "combat correspondent" but he saw no combat. At the end of 4 years, he had no commendations and was still a corporal.
  • @StevenEMurphy
That’s a lot of smack talking coming from a guy who served as a PR guy who’s running with a guy who cowardly dodged a draft while American men fought and died in a war. As a military veteran, I stand with Gov. Walz
  • Tim Walz served 24 years in the military. Trump is a draft dodger. Enough said.
  • @user-pe9qg3hg3k
JD Vance served 4 years, Walz served 24 years. The numbers speak for themselves.
  • @Badficwriter
Walz was heavy artillery. He had surgery to repair some hearing lost because of his training with them. He knows a lot more about military weaponry than combat correspondents who write dispatches. But every soldier down to the cooks has to train in assault rifles! Both men deserve respect for their service.
  • All military service is dangerous. Members are killed every year just in training exercises, between 2006 and 2020 over 5,000. Every soldier and Marine is first a ground pounder and can be called to take up the rifle at a moment's notice. Vets should not be disrespecting other vets. To do so for political gain is reprehensible.
  • Well maybe Vance could ask Walz that to his face in a debate. Oh wait, Vance has refused to debate Walz! Vance served 4 years taking photos and showing journalists around, Walz served 24, then served his country in Congress and as a Governor and let's not forget his years as a teacher and coach. A lifetime of service versus a man who stands for nothing. And lest we forget Vance is the running mate of a Draft Dodger and someone who called fallen soldiers suckers and losers, so where is Vance's outrage at that?
  • As a Democrat and resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, I will never forget what the State of Minnesota, and the Minnesota National Guard there did for the Gulf Coast in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The Governor at that time took monies out of their own general fund to welcome, and help thousands of displaced New Orleanians up there. To insult a 24-year career National Guardsman from Minnesota like Trump campaign is doing right now, is insulting to all the people of Minnesota, as well as those of us on the Gulf Coast, many who were able to rebuild their lives thanks to the people of Minnesota.
  • @rmsavig2204
Only assholes would accuse a 24 year veteran of stolen valor.
