Hi everyone.
I haven't uploaded a video for a while but I'm back today with this special tribute to the new French assassin Arno Victor Dorian. As you can see this video is much longer than my previous ones in order to compensate the lack of activity on the channel these last weeks.
I really hope you will enjoy it, and don't forget to discuss about the video and the game itself in the comments bellow.

See you guys!

My story is one of many thousands and the world will not suffer if it ends soon -Ezio Auditore

"The Creed of the Assassin's Brotherhood teaches us that nothing is forbidden to us. Once, I thought that meant we were free to do as we would. To pursue our ideals, no matter the cost. I understand now. Not a grant of permission. The Creed is a warning. Ideals too easily give way to dogma. Dogma becomes fanaticism. No higher power sits in judgement of us. No supreme being watches to punish us for our sins. In the end, only we ourselves can guard against our obsessions. Only we can decide whether the road we walk carries too high a toll. We believe ourselves redeemers, avengers, saviors. We make war on those who oppose us, and they in turn make war on us. We dream of leaving our stamp upon the world...even as we give our lives in a conflict that will be recorded in no history book. All that we do, all that we are, begins and ends with ourselves" third of my favorite speeches of ACs games.

I thought Unity was one of the saddest games if not the saddest games I ever played, it deserves more credit, even though I sucked at the new combat, I loved Unity.

Connor and Arno will always have a special place in my heart as my most favorite Assassins. Rise for the underrated but greatest Assassins!

you know i admit the game looks better here. A unity movie would be great

The love story in this game was like Romeo Juliet!

The feels... Story might have been tragic but it teaches us what becomes of those who only seek for revenge. Arno's speech was an eye opener for me among all the speeches of the Assassins. Good job in making this video~

Arno had very sad story I think he was very depressed assassin of all the games.
  • 0:13 Arno's Dad:I will return when this hand reaches the top Conan: ... Unless, of course, I'm killed. Then I'll never return.

That drama added so much to the potential of this sequel. The game Arno & Elise were playing, like both seeking for their love, and still running away from each other... That was just so catchy and adorable. Arno is unique for his personal story in my sense, perhaps he has nothing to do with the precedent games but he's just awesome.

I don't know why people hate on Arno's story. Yeah he has nothing to do with the pieces of Eden but he encountered one in the Dead Kings DLC. So he had something to do with it. He's some what like Ezio. Born immature but grew a warrior.

His story is very emotional, from nothing to France's unknown hero.People might think he is not a good character in the Assassin's Creed franchise but he is an inspiring character.Looking forward to know more about him.

I don't understand why is Arno being flaked so much. Every Assassin is unique, every assassin was tasked with something or made his own choice for the greater good. just because Arno didn't build an entire brotherhood or did something extraordinary, doesn't make him any less of an assassin. Beginning from his childhood (his father) till the end (step father and Elise)he had to see them die before his eyes primarily through murder. The pain and despair is enough reason for him to be an assassin and do what is right. Yes there is a love story involved too, but the primary reason he became an assassin was to avenge Monsieur de la Serre and protect Elise eventually.

Seeing as this video is 7 years old, this will probably get lost under the other hundreds of comments here, but man, to think this game released almost 10 years ago is insane. I think the word ‘underrated’ is overused for everything, but for this game it seems kind of deserving. Assassin’s Creed Unity was a mess at launch, but over the years I came to appreciate it vastly more than before. It is by no means a perfect game, but it was the type of story that deserved a sequel. Dead Kings DLC suggested Arno’s next destination was Egypt, and it really seemed like the devs wanted to push his story further. But instead of doing so, they’ve created this routine of introducing a new protagonist every game. Every game in the franchise you can either love or hate, but there’s always one aspect you can look at and appreciate. AC2 introduced Ezio and dedicated not one but three games building his character arc. AC3 introduced Connor, and focused on the events of the war. Ubi released additional games following the characters of Shay and Aveline. AC4 introduced Edward and Adawale even got his own DLC. Even if I didn’t like one game, I could convince myself to try it out because I wanted to see where the story picked up. Every character felt like they were coming together in one way or another, but between Unity and Origins, it’s like their writing direction changed. No more expansions, but plenty of references to all our favorite characters as if to say “hey, we didn’t forget about them! We’re going to reference them everywhere, but we’re not going to let you play as them or see the impacts their actions had over the course of history! Connor and Arno teaming up against Shay? Hah! Think again my sweet summer children!” We’ve explored all these different time periods, but does anyone remember when people made all these fake fan trailers for an AC game set in the future? People thought we were going to get a modern-day AC. But now I don’t even give a shit about the modern day! The direction of the story feels so convoluted, that I don’t feel like catching up or reading the lore anymore. My boy Desmond has been gone for so long, and not even his return could restore my faith in this franchise.

Two of my favorites, Ezio and Arno. The story is good but I'm really pissed off by the ending, Arno did everything he could to prevent Elise's death and yet Elise was gone. Ubisoft wants to make a bad ending but I don't feel sad all I feel is rage.
  • @VenhedisKaffas
God, I love this character. Why do I keep falling in love with the main characters of games that didn't do well amongst fans?
  • @mandyhiggans
I played through the entire story and I think the part were it plays elise's last letter while he goes to elise's body was genius. This obviously took a lot of dedication in making and the little bits were very well done :D
