The Pacific Is Coming To Squad 44

i really want this game to become more popular and give HLL a reason to do better.

I moved from HLL to Squad44 about a month ago - absolutely love it (aside from the low player count). The thing that really drove me from HLL in the end was the degradation in the quality of the squads (no comms, running and gunning etc) but more than all that, the sheer volume of cheaters on there now. I know people are in some sort of denial about it but having played since early access I know what I'm seeing and experiencing as a reasonably good player. It's hideous. So far on Squad44 I haven't seen anything suspicious.... no getting shot whilst behind walls or miles away behind all sorts of objects, no 'floating invisible gunmen' no ESP stuff nonsense..... I'm done. Oh and the MG mounting in Squad44, whilst not perfect, is a whole world away from the almost impossible, frustrating nightmare it is in HLL.... will they EVER fix that!?

One of my all time favorite games, it's really good. One single kill in this game is worth 20 in other games, really satisfying

Thanks for the update, you mentioned that the US Pacific faction would mainly use 1903 Springfields but Iwo Jima was fought in early 1945 so we can expect pretty much the same kit we see currently (Garands, M1919A6 etc) but maybe we get some Shotguns, Flamethrower thrown in. However, some early war maps (Guadalcanal, Tarawa) using those the older OOB would be refreshing.

I really want the Battle of Manila because it is not only a rarity in the Pacific Theater it being an urban engagement and isn't shown alot in most forms of entertainment and even history books

I can't wait to see it.. I pray this game will get some more visible promotion though because the only obvious problem that remains is getting players in. They've done great work really COMPLETING this game. It would just be a shame if they can't figure out how to get people involved.

Reign of Steel is what made me buy the game plus the cheap price on steam. It's a no brainer at the moment, yes HLL is fun and all that but Squad 44 offers a little more now with the new vehicles and such. Great video.

I hope they cover Iwo Jima. I just don't understand why Medal of Honor, nor Call of Duty have never even touched on such an iconic battle of the Second World War.

I like it it's an immersive fun shooter the Steam summer sale starts this weekend doesn't it hopefully some dudes will pick up the game

I'm glad for the S44 players, sure they'll like the Pacific if it's done right.

The new update rocks, servers were full yesterday, graphics massively improved, tank riders, explosions are outstanding and the new frontline game mode is fantastic, the sounds are brilliant and the variety of playable vehicle all make Hell Let Loose look amateur in comparison.

I read a quote about the difficulty of Elden Ring that might apply: "..a game for everyone is a game for no one..." I assume that applies to the low player count here. HLL is easy to appeal to masses while you need a bit more dedication to play PS
