My favorite budget pc guy is getting into retro handhelds, this is a cool crossover.

I have the R36S and it's a fantastic little machine for the price. I got myself better sd cards and cloned the original poopy cards and it's great. I got rid of a ton of games I'd never play and put on my own. That thing gets more use than my Steam Deck and PC😂

I can't tell how happy I am to see this video! After building 2 $1000 computers I found these devices and play them more than than my gaming rigs 😑

I dont know how much experience you have with the topic, but i think it would be great if you made a budget home lab/ server build

Chinese emulation handhelds have come a LONG way and you can get SO MUCH value sub $100. I have watched your PC content for a while and it's nice to see you in this space ^_^

Absolutely love my MiyooMini+. Have been using it every day ever since I bought it, and I bring it everywhere I go. It's one of my favorite devices I own now I'm planning to get another one as a birthday gift for my girlfriend next month, as she's been loving to play Apotris, Zelda & Sailor Moon SNES games on mine.

Retro Game Corps collab soon? The budget end of these devices (including older used devices like the Retroid Pocket 3) is a fun tech niche. I got my RP3 for $80 on eBay a year ago, and for that price it's solid for up to N64/Dreamcast emulation, lots of Android titles, and great local streaming.

Getting a used $30-40 mini PC and running EmuELEC or something similar on it would've be a great comparison for a future video!

It's funny you're making this video now, I bought a miyoo mini plus a few weeks ago and I love it.

Make sure you always get a replacement SD card for the units. Even if they send you one they are often very cheap and prone to failure. I have had cheaper ones so decided to spend a bit more and picked up the Ayn Odin Lite, it's one model old but still does everything I want. It runs Android so I can stream to it from my PC. I wonder if Ayn would be willing to send you one, it would be interesting to see an "outsider" view on it.

Is it bad that I can name every single one of those handhelds, where they stack up on price to performance, and whether or not they are hadokenable and shoryukenable?
