When I was in my twenties I dated a girl who was extremely intelligent, and very introverted. We were sitting in a restaurant one night when out of the blue she turned to me and said, "Most people have no idea how hard some people have to work just to appear normal from day to day". I had to think about it for a while.

Deal with it since 1999. Just gotta be open and be good to each other. Some folk are quiet about some open about it. Just treat everyone fairly and offer to help if they need. A friendly hello or how are you can go a long way. Proud of you Bubba

Bubba Wallace wears his heart on his sleeve, emotional but he’s very honest and for that I’m thankful as I’ve had my share of battles with depression

I’ve been struggling with mental health issues since I was 12. It’s always good to see those with a platform come out and help destigmatize it for everyone.

I’ve fought suicidal thoughts through high school, and when Bubba came out about his depression, I could relate to him more. I was a fan of him from when he started in the 43, and I’ll continue to be a fan of him. Such a nice guy. So glad I got to meet him in Daytona this year.

I have been battling depression since I was 12 years old for 25 years. Also have anxiety among other issues. I've always been open about it I don't hide it I wear my heart on my sleeve and I have been vilified and made to feel like I'm not even human for having an incurable illness that I was born with. Bubba Wallace is a hero. it is not a weakness people do not realize how strong we have to be the battle this war in our heads every day. Video has tears in my eyes because unless you know the struggle you have no idea.

Now that Bubba talked about this, I see more on the inside of him and now I know where he is coming from. Very glad I watched this video. I hope things work out for him in the future.

It's good to see this side of Bubba, and good on Dale for being a great interviewer. I think a lot of people have been judging Bubba a little harshly lately, and maybe this will help open some eyes.

Love Jr. talking about going to therapy and connecting with the right therapist. Great point, and great to "normalize" therapy.

"What you see is what you get." How much better we could all be if we lived our lives like that. Great interview Bubba.

I'm thinking Dale would make a terrific therapist himself. He's smart, honest, empathetic, and one of the best listeners I've ever seen.
