So uh, fun fact about Maine Coons: they and other large cat breeds sometimes don't reach full size til they're 4 or 5, this absolute unit might not be done growing.

I had a Maine Coon i regularly bathed. He was abandoned (found him living/eating out of a dumpster, no chip, no tag, no missing reports) and was a mess. He took REALLY well to bathing. He just looked up at me terrified, but accepted it. But once he was done and dry, you could see the relief on his face and in his body language. Ever since then he would let me bath him with minimal fuss, and would literally strut around the house afterward. He knew he was gorgeous.

What a beautiful and gentle cat. I think poor Rocket was headed for the moon when the dryer hit him. It's great that Vanessa knows a cat's stress signs and stopped, so this grooming wasn't a bad experience for him. My dream cat would be a Maine Coon, but I'm allergic to cats and also too poor for vet bills. 😭 Thank you to Rocket's owners for letting me enjoy him via the internet.

He looks just like my kitty. Her name is Catcher. She was massive too & weighed close to 30lbs. She used to hate taking baths.. She was deathly afraid of loud unfamiliar noises. Unfortunately she passed away on March 8 from old age. I had her for 17 years. She really is the greatest cat in the history of cats. I miss her.

My parents used to have a Maine coon cat was the coolest cat I ever seen. Our neighbor had a dog that would constantly chasing at our little dogs and that cat changed its mind really fast. She nailed it bad. It was a beautiful site.
