This is if anyone who is saying they said it was inspired into trying to defend the person here is what inspired it with an example POV: you read a really good book and find another book after that and it says it was inspired by the person who made the book that you just read so you read it because you would probably like it because you liked the other book it is good but had different plot lines so it is inspired partly same not entirely Now onto the basically stole the plot POV: you find A really good book and read it and you find another book after reading it that says it is inspired by the person who made that book that you really liked you read it and then you notice the exact same storyline just different characters or different designs
