As I've never heard of JD Vance before, he seems very grounded, understanding, and less than half the age of most people in our congress. I'm a fan of what I've seen of him so far.

I love that J.D. is on that stage! I was raised in the Appalachian mountains by my grandmother who gave me the opportunity to overcome the odds that I would never be successful. I totally understand the obstacles J.D. had to overcome. I am so proud that he has not forgotten where he came from. I was the first person in my family to graduate from college. I owe everything I have accomplished in my life to my grandmother. Congratulations J.D. Vance!

This is the story of my family. My family too was from eastern Kentucky in the same county. Came to Ohio for a better life. My Mamaw and Papaw instilled in their children and us that hard work and dedication are what makes us successful. Thank you JD for showing the people who have made America what it is. I’m from Ohio and was a local Paramedic with JEMS and we had MANY 911 calls for drug related problems in Franklin and Middletown. Poor towns, lots of unemployed people with abundant drugs available. It is very sad for sure! So when I heard about JD, I felt very proud of him and his accomplishments and look forward to adding him to our Trump team!

More of an independent here & a millennial. It’s refreshing to see younger representation & the diversity of his family & in-laws. Not to mention his veteran status tough up bringing by his grandmother. America is such a mixture of so many backgrounds & circumstances. President Trump brought JD on board for a very strategic reason. Not only does he come from the same place most of us came from, he's also young. He is the next generation Republican. He is our future. He is what the world needs. If you listen to his words, those are values we've forgotten. That's why our forefathers have fought and died for this country. Don't forget that!
