    It’s a simple answer. Modern gangster rap music glorifies that lifestyle. Most of these gangster rappers will never accept accountability for it but it is what it is. When it first hit the scene in the late 80’s, it was simply about reporting about the racial inequality, poverty, & crime that was happening in the inner city neighborhoods that mainstream America refused to acknowledge. It was like our internet to the streets. Then it became a thing to glorify gangs and drug dealing.
