I remember when i was 18 I was chatting with what I assumed was just a random kid looking for friends to play with. He reminded me when iw as like 12 and always loved when the random grown ups talked to meso i just played with him and that was it. Later I found out that he wasn't a 12 yro kid looking to just play, but actually was a 15yro girl who's voice i just asumed was of a little kid, my head sounded with alarms immediately and told her how uncomfortable I was with mantaining any kind of relation and that I was sorry but I wasn't risking it in any way. Not in a thousand worlds would I have maintained common conversations with what I know knew was an underage girl, so yeah he's 100% in the wrong for not cutting it as soon as he knew he was chatting with a minor, and more if it got in any inappropriate territory.
