I will never figure out how John left this beautiful, classy woman for Yoko!

Cynthia was such a classy, intelligent, articulate woman. Moving on from her and Julian was John's great loss. RIP Cynthia.
  • She was mine and my sister's first role model in 63 and on. To me, she is THE First Lady of the Beatles. Her power of forgiveness is beyond this world. Julian was born out of her heart.
  • Cynthia Lennon has an amazing speaking voice and the depth of intelligence to speak the truths from which all of us benefit.

For her to say so many good things about him after what he did to her and her son shows what a beautiful soul she is. Rip Cynthia. Rip John.
  • Cynthia, obviously a woman who was brought up with decency and standards. A level headed woman who was a rock for her son. Bless her.

My aunty married Cynthia's brother Tony. I met Cynthia and John at that wedding. I was introduced to John with the words "He's in a group and they've made a record." I was just a boy in short trousers but from that introduction I followed the Beatles avidly.I watched "Love me do" go up the charts as far as number 17. The above photo of Cynthia is a superb photo she is absolutely stunning.. It is on record that George also fancied Cynthia and my aunty has stated on more than one occasion that Paul said "How about you and me Cyn?" when she split with John. In the interview she says she had no family at her wedding to John and there were no photographers there. In her book she has a drawing of the wedding showing her brother Tony and my aunty in the picture, the only surviving witnesses to the wedding are Paul McCartney and my aunty.

My Mum worked for Cynthia Lennon in her café in North Wales in the 80s!
  • Beautiful woman inside & out. John was lucky to have her. RIP Cynthia.

All said and done John was gifted - but he was equally as ‘privileged’ to have a woman like Cynthia in his life. ✨

What an amazing lady. The sound of her voice has an almost calming effect. Very sorry to hear of her passing.
  • I saw a touching interview with Julian the other day. He loved Cyn so much and the look on his face said it all ❤️

"Flawed" is an excellent way to describe John Lennon. Thank God, Cynthia's character was not flawed, and she was able to raise Julian to become a beautiful, intelligent, clear-thinking man, as we can see from the interview he gave on the podcast I just watched. It is pitiful that John lived at the whim of Yoko Ono, a selfish, obviously very jealous woman. It is good that John was with May for a time so that she could promote good feelings between John and Julian.

She said something very profound here… Nobody should own another person’s talent. It should be shared with the world. Cynthia was a very eloquent lady; very well spoken & honest; I’m grateful people still see the beauty in her and what she says, does, and the amazing woman she was.

Intelligent woman, humble and loving. Best woman Lennon ever had.
