I am so sorry about the young hooligans that damaged your boat. With the video recorded of them, it should not be too difficult to hold them accountable. Put a No trespass sign with a message saying “You are being recorded” it will make them think twice. Definitely get the police involved to make the parents pay.

My heart goes out to you, I 100% agree with Mr John Miller that 'the parents should pay and that the law of the land that protects kids needs to be trashed immediately'. I am a teacher and confess that so much of the blame for this needs to go to the schools, as well as the home, who have failed to bring up children with the fear of repercussions. The kids' actions are simply evil and the outworking of no discipline. Unless these kids are effectively disciplined for this they will be committing murder for kicks in five years time. I feel so sickened for English society that now protects the criminals and the victims are now the necessary collateral damage that we have to live with. Please make every effort to keep us informed of the full story of this case, as its so important that the world sees everything, particularly the actions of the police and the justice system. Please explain the 48 hrs rule to us? What's that about?

Circulate the footage to all the local schools, they will be able to recognise them and then the police can pay there parents a visit, also take out a civil action against them when they have been identified and get bailiffs around to there houses to take away goods to the value of the damage, preferably start withe there TVs and game consoles.

Hello the boy shattered your glass with a tool designed to do it , The glazing can be replaced by carefully prying the glazing beads out using a filler knife the beads will be on the inside of the window ,start on the longest bead and put the blade in the groove between the bead and the frame and lift and push slightly towards the glass . To measure to replacement glazing I measure between the black rubber seals which go against the glass then add 20mm to that measurement meaning the glass will be 10mm either side inside the rebate of the frame , or ask a glazier or a double gazing fitter to help .. I hope the Police give you good news.

Empty boats at the side of the canal have always been easy targets unfortunately, Especially in more built up areas. I think you have to move onboard from day one that's what we did, camping stove, mattress on the floor. It motivates you to get finished and cuts down on travel time.😂 The alternative is a secure marina mooring but that just eats away at the budget. I like the boat, it's a great project and will make a fantastic home, best of luck.

Time to make some "wanted" posters old style, create posters with their zoomed in face on the poster and showing them smashing windows, saying have you seen these criminals, please identify them to the police (give the local police number and police incident number not your number), and say that there's $50 reward for information that leads to an arrest (because they're kids the uk police won't arrest them, so you won't need to pay out), but being labelled criminals with their photo's all over the neighbourhood will hopefully embarrass and shame their parents and hopefully jolt their parents into action even if only out of shame.

thats so bad but at least you've got them on camera so they can't deny it I would print the pictures out and put them in the local shops name and shame hope the young hooligans get caught and hope you both all the best❤👍
