  • That's why it's called a CINEMA camera, because when one shoots for cinema, they have total control of everything most importantly LIGHTING. All those going on about low light performance, you should just go buy an A7SII and film in pitch black and then get excited to see an image with little noise. For everyone else who knows how to light, frame, shoot and grade, this is the closest you will get to an Alexa/Red without selling your house.

  • Hey ProAV TV, your videos are great. I'm a recent sub, and you guys run one of the best AV channels on YouTube. I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your content.

do you find any fpn with the ursa mini 4.6 k pro?
  • @bobuk5722
Thanks Carl, well balanced review. I think it's big plus is the raw capability at this price point. Guess that links to having a controlled envirionment. When you do follow up, could you try it windowed HD with a B4 lens? Bob.
  • @SilvisSamitis
Thanks for mentioning about the SD card raw option. I could not this anywhere online.
  • @baudoj
Great introductory video for the camera. It's a real shame that the menu's don't go into any depth i.e color matrix, master blacks, knee etc...am i correct in thinking this?
  • @xinliangwei
very interesting Blackmagic Camera with ND, did you shot this video by FS5?
  • @bob76451
You mention that for more reactive situations you wouldn't recommend this camera. What would you recommend?
  • @guguemichaels
Honestly, I don't see what the big deal is. Use what you have to tell your story. If you are in a controlled environment (built in ND or NOT), any camera will work. Hell, I shot the first episode of my new web series "What would You Do" with the Ursa mini 4.6k. Everything worked perfectly fine for me: https://youtu.be/yp_CsMByiSw
  • @LowLightVideos
2:20 - Massive Bezels inside, external Screen a bit puny (could have put the Buttons underneath on top). No Sensor upgrade and loss of Global Shutter is a sad upgrade for another 0.6K resolution (and a respectable 15 Stops instead of 12). Not to mention the upper Frame Rate limit. There stuff is great but always seems 6 months outdated by the time they get into production. This is the Camera they ought to have built, instead of the Ursa.

  • This camera is only good for film, not decomentry or run and shoot projects
