My ex best friend called my police officer father and probation officer mother to talk about how concerned they were about my "weed addiction". I wasn't addicted. I was a semester away from graduating and was working the same job I held for four years at that time. They never once expressed concern to me. Just went straight to my parents. I was 22 and had been living on my own for three years, never once missing rent. The same friend had confided in me the day before that they tried cocaine for the first time a few weeks ago. I never spoke to them again. I knew they were waiting on pins and needles for the other shoe to drop and I would call them and tear them a new one, but I didn't. I thought letting them stew in that anxiety for a call that would never come was a better revenge.
  • Some of these seem more like a personal idiocy issue than a bad friend... Some people are scum, but not sure how the big ones didn't see signs or take measures to prevent further issue
  • 1: Told a secret I told her to the entire school (or at least our entire grade) Though I son’s remember what it was It was in elementary school, so I doubt it was anything important, but I considered it important at the time Stopped talking to her 2: Pretend he didn’t know me after a year of talking He would insist we never talked and it hurt me a lot Also in elementary school Stopped talking to him

Friend from my home town moved to work in the city, and was living with some guys he worked with as doormen/bouncers at a nightclub. He was a good friend. He invited me on their group vacation because one of his housemates bailed out and they needed someone to cover that guys portion/ticket. I was happy to go, and thought he was happy for me to go too, since he'd be alone with his housemate and housemate's girlfriend otherwise...a third wheel...so I assumed me and him would be hanging out together while the couple did couple stuff together. Nope. He spent the entire time adjusting plans to suit the other guy, who in turn was adjusting everything to suit his really fussy girlfriend. They acted like they were too cool to be around me. They'd tell me they're going to walk around town to explore and ask if I wanted to come...I'd say sure, because I knew nobody there, but they'd just walk away and leave me behind when I'd be checking something out in a store, or whatever. I come out of a store or turn back around and they be off down the street, walking away. They'd decide what we were doing, when, and where and my opinion didn't matter. I really felt like I wasn't even wanted there most of the time and their mood towards me was odd...as if they wanted me to leave but if I'd suggest I stay behind when they were going somewhere they'd tell me I should come along..so just so many mixed signals. Anyway, I'm not sure if my friend just became the Mr. Cool Doorman persona or what, but when I got home from that vacation I lost interest in him and felt he treated me pretty horribly that week. I still don't have any contact with him. A mutual friend of our did comment that his personality had changed since becoming a doorman at a club...he'd stand chewing gum while you talk to him and would just look ahead..and sometimes not even answer (this was not just at work...when we were hanging out) - just jerkish behavior

Slept with my wife while I was in the hospital waiting for a heart transplant.
  • I called her out for being toxic and left. She then made a false report against me claiming I hit her 3 year old daughter and spread rumors about me. She’s very petty and you only see the real her when you live with her… I feel so bad for the next poor soul she destroys. I’m not the first. And she refused to give me my stuff back. Including items that belonged to my uncle who passed away!
  • Leaving me. Moving away or on with life. Every one of them. Some without even saying goodbye
  • Only made it to 3mins. Made me appreciate the people in my life.

Completely ignored me then didn't tell me their mom who adopted me after my bio mom passed, had passed away as well instead leaving it for my bf to find out via scrolling through fb BUT could message me to say "you hurt my feelings" over an issue we had 5+ years ago that i thought we'd worked through Literally waited until our mom figure died to tell me i was a bad person, because she knew if she was still alive she would have mad us sort it out
  • My so called best friend in middle school stole my nintendo ds and sold it to game stop to buy a game cube. He even showed me the ds after clearing it I ignored and kept looking for mine as he said I got one too we can play stuff together now. I gave up lunch a few times so he could eat.

Story #11 Nahhhh.... She felt guilty and still liked OP... And then she gave into desire and ended up with the "friend"... Both deserve apple seeds.
