Cannabis clubs are set to open in Germany following their legalisation at the start of this month.

Germany partly decriminalised marijuana use on 1 April this year, allowing over 18s to possess up to 25g of cannabis in public and adults to grow up to three plants per household.

But for those wanting to just purchase the drug, growers associations or "social clubs" can now be established with up to 500 members, as of 1 July.

Members must be over 18 and live in Germany, and the clubs can grow and distribute the drug on a strictly not-for-profit basis.

People should mine their own business, if people want drugs, let them. Absolutely nothing to do with anyone else.
  • Honestly, as long as you get it from a good and trusting source, weed is actually pretty useful. Plus it has benefits that help people.
  • The significance lies not solely in the act of smoking and its effects but in the environment and context in which it occurs. These elements crucially shape the resulting experience. The interaction between the amplified senses during smoking and the influence of the environment creates a bidirectional relationship that can significantly alter the effects of the substance. Typically, sativa strains, known for their daytime suitability, are preferred in social settings to avoid the lethargy often associated with indica strains. Conversely, indica-dominant strains are more appropriate for home use or before bed, and at the end of it all, I was happy to hear that Germany has made a massive shift and changes in policy, along with the rest of the world.
