Jordies is awfully silent on the correct way to mow a lawn

So, international law for war crimes says that just following orders is not an excuse. The Australian government advocates committing war crimes, heard it here first everybody.

Thank you so much my friends. Even I learnt a lot from this, as while I was there, some of the things that happened were so unusual that it was hard to take them in. Not surprising perhaps, but your efforts on my behalf never fail to leave me so incredibly grateful. Thank you for standing up on my, and my family’s, behalf. Again.

Is it wrong to call this debacle a true "kangaroo court" moment?
  • This is actualy just scary. As soon as you said that the court said his duty was to "just follow orders" all of my red flags started going off.

dang crazy how insane they must've been to force him to pled guilty. what's more embarrassing is that the defense department can't even hide their slimy tactics well at all
  • @Jamaniak
The fucking attorney general claiming he cant interfere with something he's literally there to interfere with is honestly depressing.
  • @platypusbuk
That is absolutely horrifying that such a precedent is now set in Australia. It definitely demonstrates the levels of corruption within parliament and within the legal system. Absolutely appalling.

Jordies is awfully silent on Primaris Space Marines taking the jobs of veteran space marines
  • This is honestly awful news to hear. As an Australian ive never been more disappointed in my country and wish there was something i could do about this injustice

Meanwhile: "Aw, gee whiz, why can't we find more people who want to join the army?"
  • @shadowsong_777
I'm actually terrified of this "sweep under the rug" mentality. Poor McBride is suffering on behalf of Australian integrity and he's being punished for it. Absolutely tragic and really sets a dark tone for the future of Australian court operations.

They treat him like he leaked the nuclear codes
  • If the ruling is that it's not our military's duty to act within the public's interests, then that just tells me that the public shouldn't trust the military to act in our interest... Not exactly a relationship you want to foster between the two entities, is it?

Jordies is awefully silent whenever I pause the video...

An average ADF soldier about to commit a war crime: Good soldiers follow orders Good soldiers follow orders Good soldiers follow orders
  • @BleydXVI
If there were already Australian war criminals loudly bragging about their actions, imagine how loud they'll be now that they know they just have to say they were doing their "duty"
  • @rufioh
I think if you’re gonna hide evidence for national security reasons, then maybe you shouldn’t be allowed to convict someone either.

The "indian tech tutorial" was pretty spot on except you forgot the most important phrase: "what you want to do" between every single step.
