It’s hard being homeless, I was homeless w/my daughter for awhile..we slept in my car, in shelters in diff cities…then we got an efficiency & lived there almost 5yrs…I finally got a 2 bedroom apt two yrs ago & its 30%of my income & it’s such a blessing…I was on the waiting list 3yrs & finally my name came up! Good luck to everyone still going thru this, I know it’s difficult! But you can get thru it!

I have to be honest this is the first homeless mom that I felt the kid was completely safe and loved !!! Wow you are amazing and true !!!

😢 I've been homeless three times in my lifetime the first time my daughter was 3 years old now she's 31 years old and children that go in these situations turn out to be very strong the funny thing is she is now a social worker working with people who are homeless and I'm so proud of her

25 years ago, I was pregnant and homeless for my entire pregnancy. After my pregnancy I bounced as a single mom from cheap motels to even cheaper ones. I can certainly relate to Kimberly’s struggle. I didn’t have any mental health issues but that time had a big impact on my life. I became a registered nurse, married had three more children and most importantly I don’t judge. I walked in those shoes and I know what it feels like. Kimberly is strong, structured and she will make it. Her daughter is an absolute doll and if not for herself she will claw her way out of there for her daughter.

Going through all this without being homeless is extremely hard. I applaud her for not giving up and being a great role model for her daughter.

Being homeless while pregnant with my first son and completely destroying my mental health I want to say thank you for being so open and honest and fighting so hard for your future and that of your little girl your going to change the world beautiful girl ❤❤❤

Kimberly is seriously the sweetest and has such a gentle soul. She is such an amazing mom, and despite all of her adversity, obstacles, and pain that she’s endured, she is obtaining victories and is making progress to create a wonderful life for her and her daughter. Kimberly is absolutely beautiful, and I see a great future in store for her. When she talked about wanting to find a husband, create a family, and find a man who wouldn’t hurt her or mistreat her — I teared up, because I could relate to having those desires too! It was an honor to see a glimpse of her journey, I wish her nothing but the best! ✨
