That long shelf is a home farmer’s seed starting dream! ❤ I’d have rows and rows of trays to start and grow up veggies and flowers. So much room to experiment with unique and heirloom varieties!
  • So in greenhouse life a sink is a GAME CHANGER. Plus if you’re mindful of what you wash down the drain you could collect and reuse the water. I think that wooden counter with the sink will end up being your main work spot where you can repot without soil falling through the grates that are on the other benches. Your pottery should be right where you are repotting so you don’t have to walk in circles. Probably under the corner bench. I do think a curtain under the sink counter/bench would be nice. The greenhouse is for you to ENJOY so having a spot you can hide unfinished work or just messy storage will greatly help the overall aesthetic. You could put it on a tension line so it slides all the way open easily if you think it’ll be annoying or in the way. The grated bench is for you to put PLANTS on! Lol start bringing your plants outside to live in the greenhouse. Choose ones that are in bigger pots so they don’t dry out too quickly, ones you’re struggling with inside, plants you know like humidity and all the light, your Hoyas will LOVE the greenhouse. Once you have plants out there to mess with and propagate you’ll start filling that bench up in no time.

Now we get Greenhouse content and soon to get fish tank content????? This channel is so hype. I’m so excited to see how the fish pot turns out!!!
  • @Lna.
im loving your greenhouse and cant wait to see it more full :) just wanted to add to make some research for the fountain/pond regarding putting a fish in it, it looks too tiny for a fish to be happy in that amount of water, regardless its a charming project

Try a local fish store for some aquatic plants 😊 they’ll be able to tell you the care needs as well
  • i love the green house it looks so cool!! regarding the goldfish, i would advice against using them for your fountain. they're waste producing machines and without a super strong filter and a bunch of floater plants, it will be very tough to keep them for long. but i bet if you go to a local aquatics store and ask for advice on stocking, they'll be able to suggest just the right fish for your little pond. its so cute, i cant wait for updates

I love this new series, and I am all here for the greenhouse chores. My biggest question is, if you can stay longer at this property, because you used to mention that because of Daniels job, you need to move regularly. I really hope you will have a lot of time enjoying your greenhouse. It was such a labour of love

9:51 you can use silicone( like used in fish tanks) to cover that hole but make sure it’s safe for fish. And for live aquatic plants I recommend Java fern, anubias, hornwort(can be left glued on a rock or float) Floating plants: frogbit, water lettuce. Duckweed(but it grows very fast and can cover too much of the surface limiting light to the other plants) And I buy my aquatic plants from eBay, Etsy, petco, and petsmart. If you are buying online remember to check your weather.

And in the greenhouse, what I would do is have a lot of indoor plants in there. Fill up all that counterspace and leave a section for your pottery.

I loove your greenhouse!! you did amazing job! can't wait to see it more filled with plants and potencially organisation of plant stuff under the bench, and omg I'm so excited for the little pond! 💚💚
  • @blamekara
Also you should look into the Waltstad tank concept. It’s essentially if you have enough plants, it will be self cleaning. Any aquarium store will have plants. Also you might already know this but you need to cycle the water before you put fish in or else they will kill themselves bc the water doesn’t have the right bacteria to break down their fish poop! Just a heads up!!
  • With the extra work bench space you could possibly put shelves or make it a more storage type of situation to house unused pots/soil etc! Maybe a cool vintage cabinet or locker situation!
  • @caro19831
Heey Becca 🌻The greenhouse is just to become as beautiful and cozy or "Hyggeligt" as we say in Denmark. Good job, you can be prud of that! I know how much work and time it has taken, I'm so glad you're on your way that you can finally start the "fun stuff" hihi. Take care of yourself, hugs Caroline 🪴🌵🌻
  • instead of hiding your supplies with a curtain I would totally add in shelves, hooks, or other functional and organizing elements so you can see all your stuff. If i cant see what I have I forget what I have!
  • @torquess454
A green plant wall for that seating area!!! Yaaas!! Handmade looking pots are the best, nevermind trying to “perfect” it!! What about epoxy and a fibreglass patch for the pot hole?
  • @TheWorldofKim
That seed packet line is sooooo cute! I haven't seen anyone do that before 🤔 I love it all! I would live in there if I could 😂
  • @natjoy22
I love the idea of a curtain for under the sink. Could you mount a board (or dowel) on a hinge that opens like a door and attach the fabric to that?
  • Off-topic... I know you were trying to wear the contacts more often, but these glasses are SO CUTE! (The greenhouse is also fab!)
  • Is a beautiful green house, plenty room for more plants, and so much storage space under the benches? 💚🌿🌵🍀🌿
