Lebron is already wealthy and famous. Playing with his son is unbelievable but imagine winning a championship with him. How can anyone put a price on that?

Better not hear lakers fans hating on bron now
  • lakers giving bron everything he deserves. this is how franchises should have been treated long time ago

It’s obvious he would take a pay cut to not waste anytime and the opportunity to win a championship with his son. He knows that’s the only way so why would he let that opportunity slip away by taking money and not get a good team together for his last years and first year with his son. It’s not like he needs money either, money ain’t a problem for him and his last couple of years in the NBA all he cares is about playing with his son and winning a championship. His career is already finished and has nothing left to accomplish other than win another championship and with his son.

Ain’t heard nothing about Celtics since the draft 😂😂🎉
  • We need players that will put us over the top in not trading dlo and picks for no cam Johnson 🤦🏾‍♂️ like huuuh.

Demar doesnt fit the roster. Picking up Derozan would be like re-signing WB

Lakers need to upgrade center position, sign Isaiah Hartenstein 7'1

I'll believe LeBron is taking a pay cut when I see it. If he does great but if he doesn't then that's fine too. DeRozan is not a two-way player. Pelinka needs to add two-way players with size, athleticism, toughness, and youth for next season.

We need a big/center desperately. Why would we add yet another wing????? Unless we are trading some guys for a center
  • That would be huge! Wonder who we could target. Maybe KCP?

Lakers should take Jonas. We need a solid big to backup AD. Jonas is an experienced big who can get you 10/10 in 25 mins and bang with the other heavy centers. This will help AD and keep him fresh and sharp to make consistent midrange jumpers and sometimes 3's and help out on defense without tiring himself. We know it worked with McGee and Dwight. Jonas and Wood with Hayes to cover any injuries and rests.

I think two likely options atleast on the free agent market that we could target for full MLE is Jonas Valuncunis and Demar Derozan. I think since we can use full MLE in a trade to there's probably a good chance that the Lakers look to trade DLO and also use the full MLE in trade back to gst a player in return that we might not have without MLE. Rn I'd say Jonas is someone I'd give it too. The biggest need for is another big it was obvious during the season and then during playoffs that we desperately need another big that play against other big teams like nuggets and timberwolves. Jonas would hold his own defensively against Jokic making things tough on Jokic especially with AD lurking as well and Jonas is also someone who can score offensively and is capable of hitting the 3 at times. I think either him or targeting someone like Brook lopez via trade is what I'd consider. Demar is more talented especially offensively and can be that third option for us and a solid defender when he's locked in. My problem with Demar is that the fit would be awkward as he's not a 3 point shooter so it's gonna hurt the floor spacing. He's got more upside obviously and is someone who can get 25- 30 milliion a year from a bunch of teams i know he said in a podcast recently when asked is that he'd consider taking a pay cut for a year to play for a championship and him playing for his hometown laksrs would be a dream but again fit wise I'm not sure. Id be curious in the trade market how we can use it bc we will have more options via trade

He’s doing what Kobe should’ve done took a cut so the lakers could add better talent after 2010
