It was like a little fight club for looting! But the second you went offline you'd end up getting 100's of trophies in defences and have to work your way down again

An exploit that could be added in a Part 2 (if it will ever happen) would be fooling the old AI of Wall Breakers. Today, Wall Breakers prioritize rows of walls before individuals walls. However, back in the day, the Wall Breaker would prioritize any wall, so it didn't matter if the closest wall was a lone one, or a row. The strategy behind this exploit is that players would make bases where lone walls would be placed 3/4 tiles (I think) forward the wall that protects the base. In doing so, the Wall Breakers would never go for the rows of walls, essentially making them useless. Supercell's fix was an AI change, where Wall Breakers first target for rows of walls, but their troop count was increased from 1 to 2.

i remember just looking for these bases with their townhalls outside. brought my lightning spells with me for some quick dark elexir and some trophies. Loved it

In 2020 when lightning spell became 1 spell slot Everyone zap the CC, so they dont have to attack CC troops Then supercell put shield on the CC

As others have mentioned, loot from the treasury CAN be stolen, but I probably forgot because it’s such an insignificant amount, 4% of what it can hold. Anyways this doesn’t effect the “hiding resources” strategy, I was only showing features that have helped to keep more of your loot safe now a days.

Operation Blue Skies was a blessing and a curse... But they had no choice as people found ways to minimize their offline-time without shield. Especially for low th pushers - I remember a buddy who went full beast mode with that. Even the whole personal break system that was supposed to prevent stuff like this didn't work

Still remember the hellish days farming 10k DE for BK in th 7 just with attacks, each giving maximum of 300 DE

You should have mentioned how earlier you could just bring a lot of healers and basically have an immortal hero. Now more than 4-5 is redundant because how much they can heal at least once is capped

You brought me back with the first glitch. I remember upgrading everything to save my gold but I actually never though if stacking troops in the barracks 😂
