The girl I go on dates with: So what are you excited about? Me: bag reviews 😅

It really excels as a desk caddy. Those back pockets are a perfect place to put a work cell phone and a personal cell phone when you're sitting at your desk. I normally leave mine on my desk and only take it when I'm doing roving meetings. I think it's mostly a useful product if you tend to need to set up a Mobile station in multiple locations.

Someone tell me why I watched this video? I don't need a tech pouch / tech caddy.. and yet Aaron has made me want one.. weird.. 🤪
  • @jonuiuc
This looks cool as a tech caddy, but after trying a bunch of tech and admin pouches out, i learned I prefer smaller, softer, lighter pouches, that also have external attachments that can do double duty as a sling or waist pack. The wandrd tech pouches have fit the bill the most for me, above even the stiffer alpakas. Conceptually some Tom bihns might fit the bill too.

Having both, I regret buying the Cap2. It's great for those who have a tonne of gear but for everyday ppl, the Cap1 is so much more practical. Also I like their products but the whole designed in Montana thing is misdirection BS.
  • @ATAR1
Interesting timing. I ordered a CAP2 earlier this week (before seeing this review), but I’m still super excited to get it. I also ordered some patches for the CAP2 and my CPL24!
  • @BoricuaFez
Really like tis tech pouch and the alternatives as well. Have a couple of simple tech pouches that I have not use yet so might just start testing them out and see if I need to upgrade to a more functional tech pouch.

It was a toss up between the CAP2 and the Aer Cable Kit 3 and I went with the latter (IIRC the color/material combo I would have wanted for the Evergoods was not available) but I do love the conversion from pouch to caddy of the Evergoods. The CK3 is a great everyday tech pouch at home but experience has pushed me towards the Aer Slim pouch for minimalist travel, that thing can pack a lot more than its size looks! Great review as always!

I disagree with headphones working. One reason I stick with Bose QC 35/45/SE etc is they do fit and fold up nicely, one reason I rejected the Sony’s MX5.
  • @gng108
Great. Love the handles for pulling this guy in and out of my pack. And I’m all about that custom patch life!
  • My go-to tech pouch is always Aer slim pouch, very soft, slim, and satisty when packing
  • @houserhythm
As an alternative, if you want something slimmer but in the same style, can't go wrong with the CAP1
  • @JohnLozano
CAP2 rolls with me everyday, so good I own multiple for different applications, I do use the handle 😅. You already know I roll with the patch gang. 🤙🏽
  • @kalvin.
In terms of design, this is in my top 3 for pouches: CAP2, PeakDesign Tech Pouch, and Bellroy Pencil Case. It’s a bit bulky and on the heavier side, but I use it for larger tech so it fits its role and it’s a known volume which I appreciate for packing. The PD tech pouch is the perfect small items pouch to efficiently organize all the little bits and bobs, but it can be overly complex if you just need to store a few things, and the accordion design means it can be easy to overfill the pouch and make it difficult to close. That’s where I love the pouches from Bellroy, especially the pencil case. Its simplicity yet considered construction doesn’t show as well on a flashy advertisement, but shines in daily use.

Are there any more affordable alternatives to the Orbitkey 2-in-1
  • @MouseCIick
Tempo tissues. And I probably would put band aids on the front pocket or maybe hidden spare cash but I’ll probably forget it’s there.
  • @OndaPiloto
I like this a lot, but weight and high price point turn me around. However when I am carrying external batteries I feel more calm with well padded pouches
