Order 66 but we’re rooting for the clones.
-
Pong Krell: "It's treason then." meanwhile, lightyears away Chancellor Palpatine: "I sense someone is using my line. I shall have the clone troopers execute him as punishment."
-
Can we just take a minute to appreciate the sound crew on this episode, the light sabers sound so freakin sick.
-
I've always wondered if Palpatine was onto Krell's fall to the dark side and sent him to Umbara to test the clones effectiveness against a Jedi before Order 66
-
Imagine Krell in Ep III. Palpatine to clone: "Execute Order 66" Pong Krell: "That's cute..."
-
He really fell for the “Hey Ugly!” bait
-
I love how he said the line "It's treason then" it's like poetry
-
2:50 - how he took down these two clones is savage af
-
The amount of Clones that died in this scene alone is painful.
-
And to think Maul was cool for having a double-bladed lightsaber. THIS GUY HAS TWO!!!!
-
3:57 I like how Krell looks back at the viewers as he’s getting thrown around… “Yep, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation…”
-
I love how this entire episode turns into predator by the end. Starts by them just unloading on krell who they can’t hit. Then the guy hides in the jungle and starts taking them out silently. I also love how there’s just absolutely 0 mercy from krell. He guts them, slashes them up he’s just completely vicious.

I swear, Pong Krell is the mean substitute teacher you have to deal with, while the main teacher is away on vacation.
-
I just realized that Krell is the same species as Dexter from Attack of the Clones Welllllllllll....... whaddya know
-
This was a really excellent choice by the show. Not only did they have the clones overthrow a Jedi as a direct precursor to Order 66, they chose and shaped a Jedi for this fight who is uniquely suited for combat against multiple Force-blind opponents. Pong Krell has two sets of limbs and uses two double-bladed lightsabers, which would allow him to directly survive, at least initially, the hailstorm of blasterfire that took down all the Jedi in Revenge of the Sith. Beyond that, the contempt he shows for the clones, even as he benefits from their inherent respect for Jedi, makes us really badly want to see him lose. Good writing.

You already know the ‘it’s treason then’ wasn’t part of the script lol. Big Thank you to Filoni for helping mirror this scene to the one with Mace and Palps.
-
Well at least Krell gave the clones some practice before they went on to kill even more Jedi.....
-
Amazing how he can swing those staffs around without accidentally cutting off his extra arms.
-
Krell vs Grievous would be one hell of a fight.

0:59 You got to wonder what this guy's plan was. "This guy just killed three of my comrades with spinning blades of hot death. I know! I'll run closer so I can better shoot him with my gun!"
