There are new developments, eight weeks after Baltimore's Francis Scott Key Bridge collapsed. Now that the Dali cargo ship has been moved, crews have been able to open up a 400-foot wide and 50-foot deep part of the shipping channel to restore 24-hour access to the port. The Dali's next destination is Hampton Roads. Angelique Arintok is in studio to explain why the ship will dock here.

  • Do news people know how to properly write a headline? The one here says the ship "heads" to Norfolk. Present tense. But the story itself says that it WILL head to Norfolk some time in the future.

Click Bait headline!! Dali NOT going to Norfolk now. It will be another 5 to 6 weeks. Get your facts straight 13.

What about the stolen vehicle in the container? Are they gonna take all the containers off and go through them one at a time to see what else is being shipped out of our country illegally?

Looks like I'm never going to get my imported French salad tongs I ordered from Amazon.
  • The ship isn’t headed to Norfolk yet. I drove past it yesterday, and it’s still docked at the Port of Baltimore. It will eventually go to Norfolk, but it hasn’t left yet.
  • FYI, the outages that happened 10 hours before the crash was because a crew member closed an exhaust damper. However, the NTSB reported the power outages that caused teh crash was from key circuit breakers tripping. 2 entirely unrelated events like running out of gas in your car and your alternator going bad.

I wish the governor would quit trying to be so dramatic - it's annoying. Just talk. He doesn't need to give a speech every time he goes before the camera. And the podium is ridiculous. Just stand there and talk to the TV crews like anybody else. Thank you.

Norfolk don't want nothing to do with that. The Dali was not seaworthy when she was christened. It can't be fixed. It's in the process of being stripped out. I guess the decision to do that work resulted from the expectation that it would become a target ship on the way like the balloon was blown to smitherens. I hope the Chesapeake Bay Foundation looking into the next best place for a fishing reef.

How many other stolen items are on board? Or is Sri Lanka only interested in stolen cars.

The gun-toting line-up for the Governor's announcement really cracked me up. Are things so bad in the US that in a non-threatening situation such as this that... [Continued on Page 94]

That Governor loves the camera and spotlight…..
  • Why is it that these officials are unable to make a statement without a gang of people standing alongside for moral support? I have had bosses who would look at me and ask if I did not have work to get on with.

The ship is finally set sailing after removing all the pieces from that collapse and now it’s gonna have years and years and years to rebuild the new Baltimore bridge but pretty sooner rather saying prices are never coming downhill the gas price food prices and everything else will have to come down even more lower
  • No one is talking about the stolen cars, inquiring minds would like to know!

Iwas under the impression that she was going to be unloaded before being moved ??
