Some heavy rolling turbulence on an evening flight

This area is either butter smooth or complete trashy air. Guess my luck ran out for this flight.

Surprised that it was that strong with the sun so low on the horizon. High wind speeds on the ground? Dramatic wind speed and direction changes at that altitude? Glad you're posting about it. :) (means you landed with limbs and cameras intact.)
