I am an aspiring classical pianist and Dmitri is a huge inspiration to me! He plays with such control, yet keeps the music flowing; every phrase is shaped beautifully. Never ceases to impress.

One of the most exciting pianist around. The best thing is that his playing is so full of personality. That is so refreshing. There so many who can play the right notes and nothing more. Shishkin does that and so much more😊

One of my absolute favorite Chopin etudes with a passionate interpretation. I especially love the way this piece barges out of the gates at the very beginning, like race horses being let go. It's 0 to 100 in a split second. For that reason, I always refer to this etude as, "And they're off!"

Extrordinary!! Not only did Mr. Shishkin show the extreme technical proficiency needed, but sensitivity as expressed by his meaninful dynamics & tempo changes as well, despite the extreme difficulty of this piece!
