16 agents create a spontaneous musical in a food court in a Los Angeles mall. Using wireless microphones and the mall's PA system, both their voices and the music was amplified throughout the food court. All cameras were hidden behind two-way mirrors and other concealed structures.

This is one of over 100 different missions Improv Everywhere has executed over the past seven years in New York City. Others include Frozen Grand Central, the Food Court Musical, and the famous No Pants Subway Ride, to name a few. I want to live in a world where spontaneous musical is considered normal

I love how everyones like.." Oh shit security came".. He bursts out singing everyones face is like" goddammit"..
  • @Sowono
I love how they all applauded even though throughout the whole time they looked really annoyed
  • This, to me, is the true meaning of a flash mob - not a bunch of people running out and doing a line dance.
  • @Billybo10K
This needs to just happen normally. Like in everyday life.

i just love how everyone's holding out their napkins like "here's a napkin NOW MAKE IT STOP"

I hate how the people just look really annoyed and unimpressed. It's like there's no happiness left in their lives.
  • It amazes me the resolve and strength of the first people who initiate a true spontaneous flash mob experience. They have to have an enormous degree of fortitude at the beginning in order for the whole thing to be able to progress into a genuine experience that is shared. I do not have such fortitude.

8 years later and the janitor still gets me!

If this happened in 2015 everyone would be snap chatting it

I still spontaneously sing this song whenever someone asks for a napkin. It's stuck in my head for 15years.
  • I think this was the birth of Flashmobs, right?  Because before this came out, there were none I had seen, then after this, it became a "thing."
  • I just spilt some nutella on my shirt.  CANNNN IIIII GETTTTT A  NAPPPPKIINNNNN PLEASSSSSSSEEEEEEEEE> ...
