I've been trying a few different ways of making furniture out of smaller pieces of scrap. I'm not sure if this method is more, or less work than traditional construction, but it was a lot of fun.

Broadcast TV died when Epic UpCycling started putting out videos - it's way more satisfying to watch a master-craftsman build something from scraps than to watch a bunch of people act.

The only regret I have is, I can't give it two thumbs up.

If there was a cabinetmaking Oscar night, you would win all the trophies. You are just awesome. Thank's for sharing what you do 😏

I don't know about anyone else but those look 100 times better than anything store bought. Am, as always, impressed. 👍

I think what I like best is seeing all the stuff I've watched you make over the years in the background. The nightstands are awesome too. Love the snap at the end.

I KNEW you were gonna make two of 'em, I just KNEW it. And with a snap of the fingers.....TWO!! I laughed, and laughed. Thanks for the entertainment, Jason. You keep making 'em, and I'll keep watching 'em.

Youtube woodworking is obsessed with clamps. Love that you built these using only one, and then only to make it square. As always very inspirational, thanks for sharing

When I can’t sleep at night I put one of your videos on. Always relaxes me and get me to sleep real quick! Then I gotta rewatch the next day to see what I missed 😂

I once saw your Narnia closet thumbnail and went like "Oh yeah, let's bash that fraud..." here I still am as a humble subscriber

Finally a good use for pressed wood. I couldn't believe I was seeing that in your shop at first! LOL Love the tables!!
  • @RYwoodview
Seeing you finally smile at the very end is the highlight!

To answer your musings of whether or not this process was more work versus other methods, might I remind you of the pieces you have built where you meticulously shape HUNDREDS OF SMALL PIECES to glue together, stain, etc. Your patience is amazing and incredibly inspiring. Another fantastic piece. Thank you for sharing your process.

At 14:28 as you were sanding down your latest and amazing creation, I was noticing the COOLEST things behind you and I watched you build them all. What a super clean and neat workshop you have!! I click the THUMBS UP before I even begin to watch any of your videos because it's a sure thing I will really like whatever you make! I really enjoyed this A LOT! Great idea! If I saw these somewhere I'd not hesitate to buy them both! Just AWESOME!

Beautiful work! Yep! The magical duplicating finger snap! Looks like a set of bedroom nightstands.
  • @RicoLen1
Man for a minute there I thought you were going to be building those out of particle board! I was thinking: "Wow! This I have GOT to see!" This makes more sense though! A very good way to use up a bunch of scraps!

I love watching you work in your shop. You remind me so much of my grandfather, he was a builder also. And if I was quiet, I could sit and watch him, and I would watch him for hours. I wanted to thank you for helping me to remember a part of my childhood. It just brings me wonderful memories of my grandfather. I can’t wait to see what you’re going to make next and looking into your shop with all the different cabinets you made. It’s beautiful.
  • @Jim-DCE
Love his work and creativity. Anyone else notice how close he lets his fingers get to blades (specifically with the table saw ... less than an inch!!)

As a former cabinet maker, I really enjoyed seeing this project. The dark accents added to this work. It turned out really nice. Kudos.

Well I was going to go to bed, but when I saw you’d downloaded another video I had to watch it. I’m so glad I did. So now, in addition to artist, designer, craftsman, we can add innovator to your credits. Just brilliant. Thanks Jason.
  • I must say, sir, I'm really enjoying your videos. And I can't begin to explain how envious I am of your shop. You've gained a loyal viewer, Love those little "night stands"!
