...A guy who goes to America on a student exchange and has to reconcile his Hollywood-informed idealized version with the more mixed bag of real-life experience.
('The Screening' is a short film based on the original screenplay "Popcorn High" written by Ralph Wade. It is a scene which occurs later in the story when our hero, Graham, has managed to get his film teacher, Mr. Fiorino, to transfer his student films to NTSC format and screens them for the other students at the performing arts high school he is attending).
