These are some test renders of my Moguera (sometimes spelled as Mogera) 3D model, created in Blender. Demonstrating the movement of its limbs, some possible facial expressions, the spinning animation of its saw blade, and a walk cycle.
Moguera, the giant robot kaiju first appeared in the 1957 film The Mysterians, but a lot of media and fan-created content features his updated design from 1994's Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla. I always liked his original appearance more and wanted to make a model of it. Moguera also has a very different looking prototype design that was used for a few Moguera toys and figures over the decades, but I decided to go with his more well known finalized design from the film.

I actually like how Moguera (in this) actually looks more like an actual robot, then just being a suit. Not that I hate the suits, I like the suits. But this feels more robotic in my opinion. Edit: I meant (what I said in my comment) the Showa 3d model animation test.
  • No way, you used the Mysterian Moguera! If anyone would ever create a 3d animation of Mysterian Moguera, it would be you. And as always, the animation is very fluent, accurate, and amazing.
  • moguera's showa design is insanely underrated tbh; it reminds me of WWI tanks, because of how clunky and industrial it looks
  • Your animations keep getting better and smoother! Great stuff, can't wait for more in the future!
  • You animate so well! Your able to make all of the characters so expressive and lively!

God the walking and the sound effects with it is satisfying as hell.

Seeing you animate one of my favorite Toho monsters is such a treat, I love this.

Like the facial expressions the machine made in your animation. Bit of a callback to Pixar's glory days. Fan of the alien war machine since first seeing a pic of him in Jeff Rovin's BOOK OF SCI-FI MONSTERS, and the classic NES game, GODZILLA:Monster of Monsters. Also didn't realiize until watching this that Moguera makes a beeping sound like MechaniKong in KING KONG ESCAPES ! when the machine appears ,and is in operation. Probably inspired it the KKE.
  • Beautifully done! This is amazing! Can't wait to see how he's used in your stories!
  • Fantastic movement work! Love all the additional little robotic details you added to him as well

The drill going "snoot droop" when sad is genius

His entire being and walking animation alongside sounds is surprisingly satisfying to listen to.
