Face Painting
Fast and Easy Cheek or Arm 'Skull and Crossbones'
using one stroke painting technique.
STEPS:
Load a 3/4" flat brush with a greyscale cake (black, grey, and white) such as 'Magpie'
Create top of skull shape, almost a half circle.
Create cheekbones using petal shapes on either side
Create jawbone with a similar shape on bottom. Keep this one SMALLER than the top, but larger than the sides.
Add 'bone' shapes in an X pattern
Add details with #4 round brush and black paint.
Feel free to add flames or tweak as you see fit! I added cracks to top of skull but sometimes it looks better without it!
Once you get the hang of it, this will only take 1-2 minutes to crank out and boys love the 'tattoo' look ;)
Products Used:
Homemade split cake using Wolfe Black, Wolfe Grey, and Wolfe White.
3/4" flat brush (American Painter Brand)
#4 round brush (Mark Reid Brand)
Wolfe Bros Black Face Paint
Created on February 18, 2013 using FlipShare.
