Organising your wardrobe is one thing. But keeping it organised is a whole other ball game! 😖

In this video I share over 17 different tips to organise your wardrobe and keep it organised FOR GOOD 💪

The wardrobe organisation tips I share in this video are a curation of years of trial and error with my own personal wardrobes.

My experience comes from moving house 9 times in 6 years, including hauling my entire wardrobe overseas. I've now been settled in the same house for almost 3 years, and my wardrobe has remained just as organised as it was when we first moved in.

And that is thanks to the systems I have put in place.

These simple yet genius wardrobe organisation systems are shared throughout this youtube video, as I take you through each section of my wardrobe.

It is time to Kondo-fy your wardrobe to guarantee that it will stay that way for the foreseeable future.

👉 My 3 Rules To Maintain Wardrobe Organisation 👈
1. Everything must have a home (this is from Marie Kondo, thank you)
2. Follow the one minute rule
3. Label label label

😇 Other Wardrobe Organisation Tips from the Video Summarised 😇

2. Learn to love folding (fold unconsciously)
3. Keep clean edges on the outside
4. Use command hooks for belts, hats, jewelry, etc
5. Test different systems and find what's good for you
6. Use different hangers for different items
7. Store shoes on their sides to fit more!
8. Use clear storage containers so you can see what's in them
9. Use boxes to separate items in draws and cupboards
10. Maximize the use of the space you have
11. Organise according to season
12. Store items on their side in draws (another Marie Kondo tip!)
13. Ask yourself why your current system isn't working so you can try fix it!

I love the way u even use bottle lids and egg crates & used boxes to organize your jewelry. Unlike other individuals who fuss over purchasing matching plastic bins..u are more mindful to choose what we can find inside our homes. God bless u more. I am from Manila, Philippines

The realest video out here! Most of the YouTubers who does this video has the most PERFECT and biggest closet. You're so relatable, the tips and things you show makes more sense!
  • I agree on organizing like items together instead of by color. Within my "grouped" items I do sort light to dark.

Love seeing more Aussie fashion bloggers ❤️☺️ Good to see a realistic wardrobe that isn’t perfect and stylised to magazine perfection. Easier for us to relate to. Tip to share -I avoid cardboard and try to use plastic containers since cardboard attracts bugs (roaches😳).

For my jewelry, I bought some clear plastic boxes with small square compartments from Jo-Ann fabrics. I separated everything I had by color or stone, then made a grid on the computer and printed the name of each piece (pearl earring, pearl bracelet, pearl necklace) and fastened it to the bottom of the clear container so each piece has a home, and all pieces that coordinate are in the same box. It doesn’t look as fancy as a nice jewelry box, but it works! They have been organized for about 20 years. I labeled each box on the end piece (gold, silver, rubies) then stored them kinda like your leggings on end in a canvas basket. I can see all of them at the same time and they are alphabetized.

This is great! I love how you normalise and encourage recycling items around the house for organisation. And also that your wardrobe isn’t ‘perfect’, but that it’s important that it works for you. I needed to hear this! 🙌 I would love to see how you organise your make up. Thanks! ❤️

Love the jewelry organization and reusing other household items.
  • Best closet organization video I’ve seen. Very detailed and practical. Love the tips 👏👏👏
  • @corinalushi2612
Finally a realistic wardrobe organization. Liked it. I was tired of seeing perfect wardrobe with perfect hangers, perfect color organization, big spaces and so on. Love your semplicity and the way you organized a perfectly normal wardrobe , like most of the people. Hugs from Italy

I'm a messy person, but my wardrobe stays decently organised thanks to most items having their own place. I also fold and put away laundry while watching yt videos or listening to a podcast, love that tip! For me, having a space for the clothes I plan to re-wear before washing is really helpful. That way clothes don't end up on the floor in the evening. I also like to store entire outfits on my chunky wooden hangers, that way you don't have to look for the things that go together if you're pressed for time, and you don't need as many hangers.
  • I love the tip on getting rid of items gradually!! So much easier than facing a big overhaul.Thank you! Love your videos!!
  • @eileenchang2173
Thanks for illustrating that one does not have to buy fancy hangers and organizers in order to categorize our belongings! I’m getting ready for the summer weather while you are getting ready for the winter!
  • @Alex-nk4jl
I like the „less than a minute“ tip the most👍
  • @Inma.V
You're the first Aussie organiser I've come across. Great to see we have many similarities. Thanks for sharing. I love your tips on using boxes in the wardrobe. I will try that! ☺️
  • @FannyDucrot
You look stunning in this pale pink dress 😍😍😍😍😍
  • @solaveritas2
Great video. I've been playing around with organising my closet. Currently testing a system where I group each pair of pants with one to three matching tops, so that I can get a complete outfit with one reach. Like dark jeans with black camisole, white shirt and tan sweater. Wear all three, two or one with those jeans. The mental hurdle is breaking the habit of wanting to cross combine rather than trusting the system that is designed to simplify choice and match the occasion. I think I'll try labelling and perhaps different coloured hangers, letting go of the wooden ones, like you.
  • @Kaylabeauty03
Thank you for showing us your organization tips! Yes would love to see more of these organizing ideas!!!!!
  • @Honeyisle
Great job... simplicity at it’s best, and I love you recommend to prepare a week outfit ahead... Thank you for sharing 💕
  • @coolcatchiara
Loved seeing that all your hangers don’t ‘match’ — and loved seeing a longer vid on ya channel, what a treat. I use little cardboard boxes in my drawers too, and it’s helped me so much.
