Made a montage of all the suit-ups from Ironman.
[4K, HQ Audio, No Watermark BS]
If at some parts of the video the colors seem a little bit washed out, it's because sony vegas pro 15 couldn't get the HDR metadata.
I will remake this video when i've got sony vegas pro 17 with HDR support.

Yeah the earlier suits were slower to put on but there was a joy to watching everything connect together.

"Thank you for saving me." "Don't waste it. Don't waste your life." 11 years later, that line hits my chest even harder than Stormbreaker..

The Mark 50 is a great example of how to do nanotech. It doesn't just 'appear' on his body; you see the layers being formed and how it takes shape.

Literally one of the best casting choices and performances in the world

I feel like Nano-Tech as a concept is really cool, but the tankiness of his old suits just looks much cooler in my opinion
  • What's so unique about Tony's suits is how people fail to realize that each was an improvement on his combat capabilities. If Tony had the MK 85 during any other movie other than endgame, he would be able to solo not only the villains but could've single-handedly win both of the civil war movies. That's what I love. The constant progression that improves as time goes on until his abilities could rival that of multiple gods, superhumans, and aliens.
  • 4:13 honestly this whole sequence might be my favorite iron man moment. The music, his landing, is just perfect
  • @BushSage
I love how slowly over the course of the past decade his suits have gotten faster and faster to put on. Tony's weakness has always been that he needs to put on the suit first. I admit there's nothing like the old suit up sequences but the evolution shows he's a man of progress and constant improvement.
  • I really like how the suits were evolving from taking around a minute to just a few seconds.
  • 2:20 I remember hearing older grown men in my theater audibly whistle and go “whoaaa” like seeing a really classic car at this spin around. Hands down one of the best scenes in the MCU to this day
  • Personally, I loved the suits from Iron Man 1 and 2, as well as Avengers, but especially Iron Man 1. Every suit is complicated, but it felt like you could see every moving part, hear every click and lock, and everything had a place in the design. Later movies, the suits were so overcomplicated that they felt more like Thor's magic or alien tech.
  • @RABI99
Tony is not only the maker of IRON MAN. He is the main reason of MCU popularity.
  • @OBSDCC7
It’s honestly insane how the effects from 2008 still hold up
  • @green_boot6042
the nanotech suit up is great and all. it really shows how far tony’s suits have come. but it’s fun watching the parts of the older versions click together to form an entire suit it’s so satisfying
  • There’s something viscerally satisfying about watching a slow suit up. Watching all the pieces interconnect and unfold, hearing the clanking and clanging of heavy metal batting together, the sound of bolts being drilled in with a whining noise. It’s like an asmr for geeks and sci-fi nerds that touched the soul!

Am I the only one who found it more enjoyable watching the earlier suits? Watching how they were put together was seriously thrilling. Nanotech, while advanced and cool doesn’t wow factor when watching. I just love how you can see all the mechanical parts click together in the earlier suits. That said I like that it changed and evolved overtime, because Tony and his suits and technology constantly evolve.
  • @GomiSimpington
This guy's back is probably really strong. He carried the whole MCU.
  • @PaddyRoon7
Mark II and III are still my favourites. All of those mechanical whirrs and clicks as the moving parts all lock into place, so satisfying
