Moses being on DMT just might be the most Joe Rogan topic ever
  • Less than 2 minutes in and immediately moses was on DMT. This is the best podcast ever
  • "anybody with power is gonna be in danger of abusing it...." Now that is the best phrase I will take to heart forever

i have mad respect for how they can have an ACTUAL DISCUSSION on completely contrasting viewpoints... if only this type of mutual respect was more commonplace between two parties... you can't even disagree with someone nowadays without going into extreme territories

When he called the pope some dude who dresses like a wizard I lost it 🤣🤣🤣

"When your cult gets called a religion... You've made it"
  • @2ndmoon
It's when you watch these older videos that you realize how much joe has improved in letting others talk and just listen
  • @elianijah
He says religions that have stood the test of time must have had a significant meaning to people to do so...I imagine fear of being burnt or imprisoned for life for believing in anything else might have had something to do with it's staying power as well.

Joe’s kid’s first words: D-d-d-DMT is produced in the pineal gland
  • @robbietillman
Bret: “So you’ve done some hallucinogens” Joe: “Oh yeah”
  • i think they’re the same thing. by definition a religion is a cult but just because it’s a cult doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing. there’s a stigma to that word that if you call something a cult it automatically means people gathering around in black robes and sacrificing babies to the dark lord. a cult just means a group of people who worship something/someone it doesn’t always have to be malicious.

When Bret said he didn't know if Scientology was a cult, I almost bailed on the entire clip🤡

It's entirely possible a buddy of mine did DMT while eating elk meat. Pull that up Jamie.

This is a perfect example of 2 adults, having a discussion on something they have different views on, but are able to discuss them, be open minded, and actually listen to each other.

The more I listen to Brett the more I realize that Eric is the smart one in the family. Joe's 100% right about this. Brent didn't even consider the cognitive dissonance that comes into play when a society gets brainwashed for generations.
  • Really interesting chat :) Remember that Moses, if he is in fact a historic figure - would have spent several years as "the Pharoah's son". Geting educated by the best of the best Egyption priests ( and a variety of artists / artisans etc). Not too far fetched to believe that he knew which bushes / barks / roots / cacti to chew for "inspiration".
  • Man I thought the Rogan DMT memes were getting old and my man comes out with “Moses was on DMT and created Judaism”
  • @philipm4799
listening to people not consistently interrupting each other is so refreshing

The opening bit for Joe here absolutely killed me 😂😂😂

The only problem i have with any organized way of thinking is because it so easily slips into the realm of "I'm right, you're wrong and thats that." Society as whole would better if we were more willing to learn from those with opposing views
