Imagine leaving because you’re down by 8 with 35 seconds left and end up missing the most impressive scoring performance in NBA history
  • @lpphillyfan
The craziest thing about this was the Spurs made all their foul shots
  • @SauceDon32
I wonder how many times did this man have to save and quit to get this outcome
  • @y4nkggames819
Tracy McGrady scored 6 more points in 35 seconds then Ben Simmons scored in 36 minutes.
  • @wuffysgarage
T-Mac changed it from hall of fame mode to rookie casual
  • The fact that he showed no emotion until he hit the game winning shot is what makes this so raw. Lmao that delayed fist swing is one of the greatest moments of all time
  • At this pace for an entire quarter he would’ve scored 300 points
  • “McGrady for the win… YES!” Has gotta be one my most favorite calls

This is why you don't leave your seat until the game is over. Those "fans" could have witnessed the greatest performance ever by an athlete.
  • The iconic baffled look of complete awe and disbelief Devin Brown gives Tracy at the end truly says it all 🤣

The thing that made this comeback so iconic wasn't just that he had 13 in 35 seconds it was the team he did it against!!! This was the 04-05 Spurs who eventually went on to become NBA champions at the end of that season and T-Mac literally put together a performance like that in 35 seconds whereas any other team in the league would've called it a night and pulled the starters by then. I say this as a Diehard spurs fan who remembers that era in spurs basketball where we literally were built for defense and called boring because we didn't allow teams to put up big performances against us so to see that made it that much more impressive. I mean don't get me wrong 13 in 35 is impressive no matter who you are or who you're facing but doing it against the bobcats or clippers from that season wouldn't have been nearly as iconic as doing it against a spurs team that had both Greg Popovich and Mike Budenholzer on the bench coaching them with Bruce Bowen, Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili all present as well

It still upsets me that T-Mac never won a ring. He DESERVED one!
  • @gobucky100
That wasn't fair to the Spurs, T-Mac set the 3pt slider all the way to 100.
  • I am sure if I watch this 50 years later, it will still give me chills
  • @mrphauker
I love that he didn't celebrate until the end, man already made 10 points in 30 seconds but kept calm and focused until they were up, what a fking killer.

4:35 Pop pointing at Devin Brown, telling him he's walking back to San Antonio

0:59 is by far the most impressive 4 pt play I've ever seen. TMac leans into the 7 foot, 260 lb Duncan that is slowing down his own jumping momentum and lasers a three. Just superb concentration and skill.
