John's voice and Ringo's badass drumming skills really shines in this rock and roll masterpiece.
This song is the point in the Beatles catalogue, that things will start to get complicated, as the song is so ahead of their time, they added loads of overdubs like it's the White Album and very complicated instrumentation.
John and Paul taking turns singing in the intro, George's amazing lead guitar, and some sections really shows the musical chemistry the Beatles are really capable of. In verse 1, 2 and the solo, there is a classical guitar overdub done by George (I think?!?) and I just only recognised that with the help of Michael Sokil just recently before making this cover, the piano part by George Martin is really difficult and the solo with guitar and piano playing pretty much in unison is just massive creativity. Therefore I had to record 2 lead guitar tracks, 2 rhythm guitar tracks, (one acoustic and one classical, which is not shown in the video), 1 bass track, 1 piano track and used drum backing track form Ryohei Kanayama as usual. I think it turned out pretty great.
Lyrics and transitional footage is really hard to pull off too. I'm glad I perfected the video right at this time.
Guitars, bass, piano recorded by me and drums by Ryohei Kanayama.
